John Page, The River Series No. 4 (1966). This is one of a series of twenty small engravings inspired by various locations along the Cedar River, in the vicinity of downtown Cedar Falls, Iowa.
John Page (1923-) is a Michigan-born American artist. Educated at the Minneapolis School of Art (now Minneapolis College of Art and Design), Art Students League of New York, University of Michigan and the University of Iowa, he taught for many years at the University of Northern Iowa. Since his retirement in 1988, he has lived in Arizona, where his involvement in art has continued.
