Bobolink Books was launched in 2002, at which time
we published our best-selling title, False Colors: Art, Design and Modern Camouflage, an account of the contributions to camouflage (during World Wars I and II) by artists, designers and architects.

In 2005, we published a second book, titled Cook Book: Gertrude Stein, William Cook and Le Corbusier, a playful and often amusing account of the friendship between Gertrude Stein and a largely unknown painter named William Edwards Cook, who was also an architectural patron of Le Corbusier.

We anticipate that our next book will celebrate the life and work of an American artist and psychologist named Adelbert Ames II, who devised a famous series of laboratory demonstrations. Titled The Man Who Made Distorted Rooms: The Ingenuity of Adelbert Ames II, this project is nearing completion.

We have also published booklets on the artworks of Mary Snyder Behrens (including Patches of Time; Trammels; and New Work); on creativity; and on songwriter Eden Ahbez, book designer Merle Armitage, Bauhaus potter Marguerite Wildenhain, and Grant Wood and Frank Lloyd Wright compared.
